- Horizon Media, PMG, and Wpromote have signed on as official independent agency partners with Reddit, in accordance with the corporate. Tinuiti, which has been a component of the platform’s (*3*) Agency Program since 2022, has renewed its partnership.
- Participating agencies have access to features which might be typically reserved for clients on the holding company level, such as recent advertiser incentives, enhanced measurement tools, bespoke insights and early access to recent ad product tests.
- The independents will even receive support from Reddit’s in-house creative agency KarmaLab and a roster of dedicated internal consultants who’ve experience working with disruptor and challenger brands.
Adding three recent shops, and renewing the agreement with the primary partner for its (*3*) Agency Program, helps Reddit establish its bonafides as it attempts to capture the eye and dollars of smaller brands. These moves come as Reddit looks to develop its global promoting business.
With greater than 100,000 communities covering a big selection of topics on Reddit, the platform is usually a particularly intimidating one for smaller brands, who often don’t have the resources, knowledge or scale of the larger agencies, to administer all the choices available in digital media. These dynamics can leave many small-to-medium-sized clients at a drawback, as their larger competitors, who’ve contracted with holding corporations, can use their clout to realize access to recent initiatives and bespoke company experts.
Working with a wider array of independent agencies may also help address this issue as the client rosters of independent agencies are inclined to be dominated by small-to-medium-sized businesses, along with representing enterprise and challenger brands.
“(*3*) agencies are an especially precious and influential a part of the broader agency mix, representing clients of every kind and sizes which is increasingly necessary for Reddit as we proceed to scale our promoting business, particularly our mid-market and small business segments,” said Harold Klaje, Reddit’s chief revenue officer, in a press release.
The expansion of the (*3*) Agency Program takes place alongside Reddit’s ongoing relationships with agency holding corporations. Last December, Reddit announced an enterprise partnership with Omnicom Media Group in Canada, following an analogous March 2021 partnership with OMG’s U.S. operations. In March 2022, Reddit launched a consultative partnership with WPP to develop the platform’s commerce strategy.
Reddit continues so as to add recent features to its Ads Manager, including recent campaign creation tools, multi-currency support, improved search and enhancements to bulk editing.
