How LADbible doubled its editorial process speed – Marketing Tech News

LADbible Group is considered one of the most important social publishers on the earth, with a worldwide audience of nearly 1 billion. The company operates across all major social media channels and reaches 52 million monthly users on its five web sites: LADbible, UNILAD, Tyla, SPORTbible, and GAMINGbible.

The problem:

LADbible Group needed to scale its ability to support recent and unique kinds of content in a quick-paced publishing environment.

Having previously used an in-house content system in-built the early days of the corporate, the LADbible Group team was on the lookout for a recent solution that might support complex content needs at a quick pace.

According to Tim Barrett – head of product delivery at LADbible Group – the kinds of content that the group desires to publish and the way they wish to use the content are two things that change often. Their major aim was to search out a recent content management system that might scale with their ambitions. 

The solution:

The solution that Contentstack provided to LADbible’s challenges was offering a highly flexible architecture with extension points built into the system. This allowed LADbible to integrate Contentstack with their existing publishing infrastructure easily and experiment with recent content types. For example, they were capable of create live articles to cover breaking stories using only Contentstack extensions without the necessity for third-party integrations or additional costs.

Contentstack also provided time-saving tools for developers, akin to APIs and SDKs, making it easy to customize and construct on the platform. Automatic configuration of latest stacks and efficient rollback capabilities streamlined their development process, enabling faster turnaround for feature requests.

In terms of editing efficiency, Contentstack provided an integrated UI that allowed LADbible’s global team of content writers and editors to create, preview, and schedule content quickly. The CMS also facilitated integration with third-party tools, reducing the necessity to modify between different systems for content creation.

Additionally, Contentstack offered quality support and collaboration, with responsive assistance from their support team and a collaborative relationship with their account manager and technical architect.

The result:

Implementing Contentstack enabled LADbible to experience several advantages, including a fast and value-effective launch of latest content types, the power for 55 distinct brand sites to share and customise content capabilities, and a two-fold increase in editorial process speed attributable to the integrated UI. Furthermore, Contentstack helped LADbible improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration inside its content management processes.
